Step into a luxury 5-star hotel in Accra’s downtown business district, minutes from the
National Centre for Culture and Art. This elevated version of Ghana Unveiled uses
Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City for the Accra nights, pairing the itinerary’s rich cultural
immersion with an upscale hotel experience, spa offerings, dining, and sophisticated
city comfort.
Accra stay is paired with a one night stay at Ridge Royal Hotel in Cape Coast, with
standard rooms and breakfast included during the Cape Coast portion of the journey.

Depart the USA for Ghana. Group travel begins November 11, with arrival into Accra on November 12.
Fri | Nov 12 — Akwaaba to Accra + Welcome Dinner
Arrive in Accra, meet your local representative, and transfer to your hotel. That evening, gather for a warm welcome dinner as we ease into the beauty and energy of Ghana.
Sat | Nov 13 — Accra City Xperience
Explore Ghana’s vibrant capital through cultural landmarks, historic sites, museums, artisan markets, and meaningful places connected to Ghana’s independence, creativity, and pride
Sun | Nov 14 — Accra Culture + Hidden Gems
Enjoy a curated day highlighting Accra’s creativity, flavor, and local culture through hands-on experiences, shopping, music, art, or other hidden gems.
Mon | Nov 15 — Leisure Day or Optional Waterfall Massage
Spend the day relaxing, exploring, shopping, or unwinding at the hotel. Guests may also choose to add the optional Waterfall Massage Day experience for an additional cost.
Tue | Nov 16 — Accra to Cape Coast + Cultural Connection
Travel by private air-conditioned bus to Cape Coast for a powerful day of history, reflection, and cultural connection, including lunch and a traditional cultural experience.
Wed | Nov 17 — Cape Coast Heritage Xperience
Continue exploring Cape Coast through deeply moving heritage experiences connected to Ghana’s history and the transatlantic slave trade. After lunch, check into Royal Ridge Hotel for overnight stay.
Thu | Nov 18 — Optional Beachfront Day + Farewell Dinner
Day of relaxation. Choose to add the optional Labadi Beachfront Resort Day which includes a day at the beach, pool with greate food and drinks – it all about relaxation. That evening, gather for a farewell dinner to celebrate your final night in Ghana.

Important XTD Travel Information
LAND ONLY PACKAGE: You are required to make your own flight arrangements unless a separate group airfare option is released. When making flight arrangements, pay close attention to your travel dates. The airport code for Accra Ghana is ACC and the airport you will be flying into. For Ghana Unveiled, the travel day to Ghana is November 11, 2027, and the return flight from Ghana is November 19, 2027. Your return flight should depart from Ghana on November 19th and arrive back in the U.S. on November 20, 2027.
IDENTIFICATION: Travelers are required to make reservations under the full name listed on the government document they will use for travel.
Passport Identification Requirements
For international travel, your passport should generally be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Ghana requires a valid passport or legal travel documents. Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have all proper travel documents, including any required Ghana visa. Ghana also requires travelers to have a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate; this certificate may be requested during visa processing and checked upon entry.
Trip Reservations
When registering for a trip with XTD Travel, travelers are required to make reservations in the full name listed on their government-issued ID. For international trips, you must use the exact name as it appears on your passport. If you need to change your name after travel documents have been issued, you will be responsible for all name change fees, if applicable.
Automatic Billing Plan
Enroll in our automatic billing plan to relax, knowing your future payments will be made automatically. When you book, we’ll calculate an evenly divided payment plan and let you know the exact day your payment will be processed monthly. Your initial deposit is due at booking, and future payments will follow the schedule on your invoice. This service is available at no charge.
Invoice Notifications
With the payment plan, you will receive monthly payment notices. Full payment must be received by the final due date to ensure you receive travel documents, itineraries, and additional travel instructions. These documents are emailed approximately 30 days before you are scheduled to begin your travel.
Payment Processing
We use third-party payment processing companies such as WeTravel to process credit card charges. This allows you to make payments with any major credit/debit card.
Travel Insurance
Missing a vacation is disappointing; losing the money you paid is worse. We recommend purchasing travel insurance. Please review your policy options thoroughly to determine the best type of insurance policy for you, including cancel-for-any-reason coverage where available.
Traveler Contact Information Updates
Please notify XTD Travel of any mailing address, email address, or phone number changes in a timely manner to ensure important documentation, travel swag boxes, and trip communications are received at the correct location.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
XTD Travel does NOT ISSUE REFUNDS. For this reason, XTD Travel HIGHLY RECOMMENDS that guests procure travel insurance. You can cancel your vacation if you elect to do so. However, completing a cancellation form does not entitle you to a refund, as XTD Travel has a no-refund payment policy. Please send your completed XTD Travel Cancellation Request Form to cancel@xceptionaltravel.com. Your request will be reviewed and processed within 3 to 5 business days.
Credit/Debit Card Chargeback Policy
If you are unhappy with our services for any reason, you agree not to file a chargeback with your credit or debit card before you have allowed us to address the matter. Chargebacks are not to be used for convenience or as a way to avoid the cancellation and refund policy. XTD Travel will vigorously dispute chargebacks and reserves the right to report fraudulent chargebacks to authorities.

Terms & Policies
Making reservations for this package signifies your acceptance of our terms and conditions. All payments to XTD Travel are non-refundable and non-transferable. Prices are subject to change without notice. Monthly payments are required to keep your reservation current. If monthly payments are not made by the specified due date, a $25 late payment fee will be charged.
