Monday | August 16—Welcome to Montreal
Depart for Montreal from the Amtrak train Station in NYC.
Traveling from New York City to Montreal by Amtrak is an experience in itself—often described as one of the most scenic rail journeys in North America. As the train departs the bustle of Manhattan, the landscape gradually transforms into a breathtaking panorama of rivers, forests, and charming historic towns. Along the way, the route winds through the majestic Adirondack Mountains, where passengers are treated to sweeping views of mountain peaks, tranquil lakes, and stretches of the Hudson River that hug the tracks. The journey offers a relaxing, picturesque way to travel, allowing you to sit back, socialize, and enjoy the ever-changing scenery before arriving in the vibrant, culturally rich city of Montréal.
Your Montreal experience begins as we arrive by train at Montreal Central Station and transfer to our beautiful home base, the stylish Humaniti Hotel (or similar hotel) in the heart of downtown. After settling in, the evening is yours to relax, unwind, and soak in your first impressions of this vibrant city.
Tuesday | August 17—Culinary Connections
Today is all about flavor and fun. After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning, then participate in a hands-on cooking experience to prepare and enjoy a delicious multi-course meal alongside fellow travelers. It's the perfect way to connect, laugh, and savor Montreal's incredible food culture.
Wednesday | August 18—Discovering Montreal
This morning, we explore the city on a guided sightseeing tour showcasing Montreal's most iconic landmarks—from Old Montreal and Notre-Dame Basilica to Mount Royal and the vibrant St. Denis district. Later, enjoy a refined group lunch at an elegant French restaurant, followed by free time to continue exploring the city at your own pace.
Thursday | August 19—Black Montreal & A Night on the River
Today, we step into Montreal's rich cultural story during a powerful exploration of Black Montreal and the historic Little Burgundy neighborhood, home to a legacy of jazz, culture, and community.
The evening becomes truly unforgettable as we dress up for our Red Carpet Dinner Cruise on the St. Lawrence River, complete with skyline views, live entertainment, and a multi-course dinner.
Friday | August 20—Relax, Recharge & Celebrate
Enjoy a day designed for leisure and personal exploration. You may choose to unwind at the renowned Strøm Nordic Spa, explore the city's cafés and boutiques, or attend an optional performance by the Black Theatre Workshop, Canada's oldest Black theatre company.
In the evening, we gather for a celebratory Farewell Dinner, where we toast to an incredible week of culture, connection, and unforgettable memories.
Saturday | August 21—Until Next Time
After breakfast, we transfer to Montreal Central Station for our journey home—departing with new friendships, incredible experiences, and unforgettable Moments in Montreal.

TRIP RESERVATIONS
When registering for a trip with XTD Travel, travelers are required to make reservations in the full name listed on their government-issued ID.
Note: When registering for an international trip, you must use the exact name as it appears on your passport. If you need to change your name after travel documents have been issued, you will be responsible for all name change fees, if applicable.
Automatic Billing Plan
Enroll in our automatic billing plan to relax, knowing your future payments will be made automatically. When you book, we’ll calculate an evenly divided payment plan and let you know the exact day your payment will be processed monthly. Your initial deposit is due at booking, and future payments will follow the schedule on your invoice. This service is available at no charge.
Invoice Notifications
With the payment plan, you will receive monthly payment notices. Full payment must be received by the final due date to ensure you receive travel documents, itineraries, and additional travel instructions. These documents are emailed approximately 30 days before you are scheduled to begin your travel.
Payment Processing
We use third-party payment processing companies (e.g., Travel Joy) to process credit card charges. This allows you to make payments with any major credit/debit card.
Travel Insurance
Missing a vacation is disappointing; losing the money you paid is worse. We recommend purchasing travel insurance, which you can purchase HERE.
Traveler Contact Information Updates
Please notify XTD Travel of any mailing address, email address, or phone number changes in a timely manner to ensure that important documentation, travel swag boxes, etc., are received at the correct location.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
XTD Travel does NOT ISSUE REFUNDS.
For this reason, XTD Travel HIGHLY RECOMMENDS that guests procure travel insurance via our complimentary travel insurance portal on our website HERE.
Note: Please review your travel insurance booking options thoroughly to determine the "BEST" type of insurance policy for you (i.e., cancel for any reason vs one of the other policy types). XTD Travel does NOT recommend which insurance policy you should buy in the event you purchase travel insurance. As such, it is important that you read all the policy benefits and understand the type of policy you are considering when comparing policies, and where in doubt. If you have policy-specific questions, please contact the travel insurance provider directly.
Note: You can cancel your vacation if you elect to do so. However, completing the cancellation form does not entitle you to a refund, as XTD Travel has a NO REFUND PAYMENT policy.

XTD Travel has adopted this policy to ensure we can book the best vacations in amazing locations with phenomenal excursions and other benefits. Clients are also HIGHLY encouraged to secure travel insurance for their vacation so that in the event a "covered reason" occurs, their vacation investment will be covered.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD CHARGEBACK POLICY
If you are unhappy with our services for any reason, you agree not to file a chargeback with your credit or debit card before you have allowed us to address the matter. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we strive to stand behind our products and services. We will work to address any issues that you might have. By signing this agreement or booking a trip with us, you agree that chargebacks are not to be used for convenience; in other words, they are not an appropriate way to avoid our cancellation and refund policy, to which you agree by signing this agreement.
We view such chargebacks as a form of “friendly fraud,” but fraud nonetheless, and we will vigorously dispute any chargeback and reserve the right to report fraudulent chargebacks to authorities. Should we win any chargeback you initiate, you agree to reimburse us for our attorney's fees, time, costs, and expenses in rebutting the chargeback.
