Travel Notes

Destination-Specific Travel Notes
 

  • If purchasing a “LAND ONLY PACKAGE,” you must arrange your flight. When making your flight arrangements, pay close attention to your travel dates and the location of the airport you will be flying into. For this trip, the airport code is MBJ.

  • Check-In: 3:00 PM

  • Check Out: 11:00 AM

  • Check-in Policy: The Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds. Government-issued photo identification (for international travel, you must have and present your passport) and a credit card, debit card, or cash deposit may be required at check-in for incidental charges.

  • This property accepts credit cards and cash.

  • For this trip, guests can have their monthly installment payments automatically deducted in equal installments from their credit/debit card from your bank via an option you can select during registration for your trip.


Passport Identification Requirements:
 

  • For International travel, you generally want to ensure that your passport is valid for six months beyond travel dates. Check the State Department’s passport information page for more information on specific destination passport validity timeline requirements.

  • A passport is required to travel to Jamaica. Please go HERE for all the information you need to procure your passport.   • Traveling to Jamaica requires that your passport be valid during travel dates. Your passport must have at least (1) blank page in your passport. Otherwise, you MUST apply to renew your passport and receive it before departing for this trip.

  • All prices are based on the exchange rates in effect at the time of price quotation. If the US dollar devalues, XTD Travel reserves the right to increase prices accordingly. Your final invoice will reflect increases resulting from currency devaluation.


Trip Registration
When registering for a trip with XTD Travel, travelers are required to make reservations in the full name listed on their government-issued ID.

Note: When registering for an international trip, you must use the exact name as it appears on your passport. If you need to change your name after travel documents have been issued, you will be responsible for all name change fees, if applicable.

Flight Information
Purchase your flight to Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ). After purchasing, please enter your flight details into our database to ensure a shuttle is ready for your transfer to and from the resort. Enter your flight information HERE.

Automatic Billing Plan
Enroll in our automatic billing plan to relax, knowing your future payments will be made automatically. When you book, we’ll calculate an evenly divided payment plan and let you know the exact day your payment will be processed each month. Your initial deposit is due at booking, and future payments will follow the schedule on your invoice. This service is available at no charge.

Invoice Notifications

With the payment plan, you will receive monthly payment notices. Full payment must be received by the final due date to ensure you receive travel documents, itineraries, and any additional travel instructions. These documents are emailed approximately 30 days before you are scheduled to begin your travel.

Payment Processing

We use third-party payment processing companies (e.g., Travel Joy) to process credit card charges. This allows you to make payments with any major credit/debit card.

Travel Insurance
Missing a vacation is disappointing; losing the money you paid is worse. We recommend purchasing travel insurance which you can purchase HERE.

Traveler Contact Information Updates
Please notify XTD Travel of any mailing address, email address, or phone number changes in a timely manner to ensure that important documentation, travel swag boxes, etc., are received at the correct location.

 

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
 

  • XTD Travel does NOT ISSUE REFUNDS. For this reason, XTD Travel HIGHLY RECOMMEND that guests procure travel insurance via our complimentary travel insurance portal on our website HERE.


Note: Please review your travel insurance booking options thoroughly to determine the "BEST" type of insurance policy for you (i.e. cancel for any reason vs one of the other policy types). XTD Travel does NOT recommend which insurance policy you should buy in the event you purchase travel insurance. As such, it is important that you read all the policy benefits and understand the type of policy you are considering when comparing policies and where in doubt. if you have policy-specific questions, please get in touch with the travel insurance provider directly.


Note: You can cancel your vacation if you elect to do so. However, completing the cancellation form does not entitle you to a refund, as XTD Travel has a NO REFUND PAYMENT policy.

  • XTD Travel has adopted this policy to ensure we can book the best vacations in amazing locations with phenomenal excursions and other benefits. Clients are also HIGHLY encouraged to secure travel insurance for your vacation so that in the event a "covered reason" occurs; your vacation investment will be covered.


 

 

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD CHARGEBACK POLICY
 

If you are unhappy with our services for any reason, you agree not to file a chargeback with your credit or debit card before you have allowed us to address the matter. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we strive to stand behind our products and services. We will work to address any issue that you might have.

By signing this agreement or booking a trip with us, you agree that chargebacks are not to be used for refund convenience; in other words, it is not an appropriate way to avoid our cancellation and refund policy to which you agree by signing this agreement. We view such chargebacks as a form of “friendly fraud,” but fraud, nonetheless, and we will vigorously dispute any chargeback and reserve the right to report fraudulent chargebacks to authorities. Should we win any chargeback you initiate, you agree to reimburse us for our attorney’s fees, time, costs, and expenses in rebutting the chargeback.

  • All payments to XTD Travel are non-refundable and non-transferable. Reservations must be made in your FULL NAME as it appears on your government-issued identification.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice. Make your reservations today to lock in the current price.

  • Monthly payments are required to keep your reservation current.

  • Ensure your roommate, if applicable, is also making timely monthly payments.

  • Name changes are allowed with a $250 name change fee.
